 Science Resource Center

Welcome to the Science Resource Center
The Battelle Science Resource Center (SRC) provides ready to use hands on, minds on inquiry-
based science kits for students in kindergarten through 8th grade. We also provide ongoing
professional development for teachers as they work to incorporate physical, earth & space,
and life science kits into their classrooms.  Funds from Battelle Legacy Grants, OSPI & WA
State LASER participating districts and Kennewick School District provide the funding for
the SRC.  The Battelle Science Resource Center was named a regional science resource
center in 2002 and now serves dozens of schools in Southeast Washington.
